Shanny

Founder & Care Navigator | Advocate
Shanny created her Care Navigation service to provide calm, compassionate support for older people and families navigating ageing, change, and important life decisions.
As a mother and through supporting her own parents, family members, and others through health and later life transitions, Shanny understands the emotional weight, responsibility, and difficult choices that come with caring for someone you love.
Combined with more than 20 years of professional experience supporting people through complex systems and life transitions, this lived experience has shaped a deeply compassionate, practical, and advocacy driven approach grounded in empathy, dignity, and genuine care.
Now proudly calling the Sunshine Coast home, Shanny was drawn to its natural beauty, slower pace, and sense of calm reflecting her belief that ageing and care should be experienced with clarity, dignity, and support. Her guidance can also extend to practical life transitions such as downsizing and preparing homes for sale locally.
Families often come to Shanny feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally stretched. Her role is to bring calm to complexity helping people feel supported, informed, and reassured during times that can feel heavy or confusing.
This work goes beyond paperwork. It is about people, their lives, their independence, and ensuring they feel heard, respected, and supported through change.
Known for her calm nature, warmth, and steady presence, Shanny supports older people and families including those in the “sandwich generation” balancing care for ageing parents alongside work and family to feel less alone and more confident in the decisions ahead.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
